I have the above for sale.

The body is from a 1998 Squier Precision. All the electronics are original to that body.

The pickups genuinely sound awesome! I have made a recording of the bass which I can email you if you wish.

The neck is from a *brand new* Squier Vintage Modified Precision. I am selling the brand new neck because I prefer Jazz bass necks.

The body of the bass has a few dents and dings around the front and edges. Gives it a relic'd look in my opinion.

However, the back of the bass is a bit of a mess...I planned to strip the paint-job off completely, and the heat gun that I was using blew up...so I gave up on finishing it.

If you are not bothered that it looks like a burns victim on the back, then fine. Or you may want to finish stripping it yourself.

The scratchplate is not the original one. It's a little tatty around the pickups, but only visible up close.

Apart from the paint work, the overall bass is a really great instrument....even though it's been a bit "frankenstiend"

There are brand new medium gauge strings on the bass.

I have given it a basic setup, but I'd be happy to set it up to your requirements.
