When the time comes to change my valves I will be changing the full lot of them but wondered what brands people recommend and also do you take the risk of straight swapping or get a tech to balance them?? Preamp valves are plug and play Real question is why are you changing them all? For power valves I like Shuguangs, but Gold Lions are getting good words from techy sorts. Preamp ones, I get boxes of Shuguangs and use my tester, bin the duff ones, you pay a lot extra for someone else to do this and stick their own badge on.
