far0n Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 Fished out my Cort Funkmachine the other day which I've not used for a good few months if I'm honest. Plugged it in, sounded 'odd'. Then checked the pickup blend and it seems my neck pickup... only half of it works. The E & A strings are fine, the D & G strings are completely silent. The bridge pickup is perfectly fine. It could be the pole pieces are broken/damaged, I've never heard of a pickup that's wired or wound in two halves but you never know! Good luck. marwood Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 (edited) Maybe its a humbucking split coil, you would know if you took the pickup out and opened the casing.
