lobematt Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 I've just bought a P bass from these forums in C standard with heavy strings on. I've ordered some lighter gauge strings to put it back into E and just wanted to know if I need to look out for anything with the neck putting them back on? MoonBassAlpha Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 going to lighter strings you will almost certainly need to slacken the truss rod a bit.
