Very little Interest at £290 so I've taken off another £50 - All as described below for just £240. Any takers?

I'd lusted after a Medium Scale Bass (32") for well over a year, so in January of this year I treated myself to one of these: http://www.fender.co...gerboard-black/ it cost me £290.

I then immediately bought a case to keep it in good condition and to protect it, one of these: http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B002WDBC28 it cost me £44.

I'm not a fan of round-wound strings so had the bass set up, at a cost of £30, and a set of La Bella flat-wound Deep Talkin' 760FS Standard - Flat wound 45 65 85 105 strings fitted, bought from this web site: http://www.stringbus...GS%20LA%20BELLA they cost me £36.

I then bought a quality wide black leather strap, to hang it on from a music shop in Barnet, at a cost of £22.

Sooooooo - in total I spent £422. Not bad for a really nice Bass, set up really well, great strings and quality case; the problem was - Aggggghhhhh - I just can't take to it, it feels way to big to me after playing short scale basses for so long. It went to one rehearsal session in Uxbridge and a couple of hours playing at home - it then went into it's case and only came out again today so that I could take some photo's to advertise it on this site. By the way - the lead guitarist and drummer in our band think I'm stark raving bonkers for wanting to sell it - what do they know.

I'll be sticking with my Fender Mustang and Gibson SG Re-issue short scale basses from now on so this really has to go.

I'm looking for [s]£290[/s] (£240 collected) for the lot, that's £50 less than I paid for the bass alone. I was going to put a figure in here of the amount I've lost but I find it a bit painful so I'll let you guys do the maths. It's taught me a lesson though, well for this week anyway, who knows what I'll buy on a whim next time.........

There are no marks of scratches on the Bass or the case, the strings and strap are new and the set up is superb, In total it's probably had 5 - 6 hours playing. The original strings are also included - if you like round-wound.

Follow the web links above to get specs etc, I'd prefer a local buyer (I live in Hertfordshire - close to St Albans) - shipping guitars gives me the willies - I see the way couriers treat the stuff where I work.

I hope the attached photo's are OK.

Thanks for looking.
