DarkHeart Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Ive got a Rockbass Streamer with the passive MEC `Classic Humbuckers` now ive never had a problem with it untill recently, it plays very nice with a good action but since ive put decent pickups in my other basses it seems to fall short a bit on the output side of things in other words its weak. Are there any alternatives to the MEC`s or is a preamp a good idea?
