I'm guessing that this bass might be a bit of a no go area for interest on this forum, but, I thought I'd offer it on here before I try to sell it elsewhere.

The bass is approximately 10 years old and was one of the very first brought in the country, I bought the demo model direct from the distributor about a week after he'd received it.
In the 10 ish years I've owned the bass it has been played a handful of times so is in about as close to mint condition as it could be.

I'll put photo's and more technical details up tonight when I get home.

For now all I can remember is:

Sunburst colouring
5 Strings
Single Kent Armstrong Active Soapbar pickup
Musicman replica styling

The bass is heavy, I have a hard case that's seen far better days and is also heavy, so local collection or meet up is preferred but UK shipping would be possible. I'm near Derby/Sheffield/Nottingham.

I've got no clue what this is worth as you just can't find any of them for sale or recently sold so I'm going to start at £100.

Cheers for looking.

Dave

Right, it's taken a while but the camera and the bass finally found themselves in the same room.

So, here she is in all her glory.

Update:

This is how it happened!

Sale agreed.
Removed bass from case to get weight for courier, discovered broken nut.
Discussed options with buyer, way forward agreed.
Took bass to luthier for new nut, set-up and strings.
Contacted buyer when bass was ready, no response for a while.
Buyer returns message after dealing with family bereavement.
I agree to let the buyer have a few weeks to sort everything out before payment etc.
In the meantime I have a bit of a play with what is now a stunning bass!
I've not heard anything more from the buyer and I'm hoping it stays that way as I am now determined to master that extra string.

Cheers

Dave
