IMPORTANT NOTICE

Recommended Posts

IMPORTANT NOTICE: AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR, ABUSIVE POSTING, ABRASIVE POSTING.

Our erstwhile friend and Bon Vivant Skankdelvar has made a humorous thread about this issue here - http://basschat.co.u...e-shock-horror/

However, more seriously and over the last few weeks we have had a number of complaints from members regarding the levels of aggressive, abusive and abrasive posts in the Basschat forums.

This is not the sort of trend that we want to see developing within Basschat and from the feedback we've had from you guys and gals, it's plain to see that the overwhelming majority of you are of the same opinion.

Robust, friendly discussions are always welcome; differences of opinion that are discussed in an adult manner are always welcome; but aggressiveness, personal attacks and 'trolling' are not welcome here under any circumstances.

The Basschat Administrators and Moderators have therefore agreed that a zero tolerance policy towards people posting in this manner will be adopted to bring Basschat back to its normal inclusive and friendly status.

Those who persist in behaving in this manner will find their posting privileges affected.

I have asked the Moderation team to enforce this policy robustly to nip this trend in the bud.

Many Thanks
