This is probly a really stupid question but when playing bass i have always banged my fingers off the pickups dont ask me why but i prefare playing down by the bridge,The last bass i had i wore the nickel plating off the pickup. Well i have jus fitted an emg mmcs pickup to my guitar and was wondering if this would cause any damage..again this is probably a stupid question but i have always wondered.
