Heathy Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 I recently bought a second hand Stingray and I am over the moon with it. It has given me the tone I have always wanted! However, I have noticed a reduced volume from the G string when plugged in. I have looked on t'internet and found that this can be common with Stingrays. Has anyone else on here noticed this, and if so do you have any tips on how it can be overcome? I have tried raising the pickup height, but this has had no impact. Can the pole height be adjusted easily? I would appreciate any thoughts that you have, and apologise in advance if this has been dealt with elsewhere - I couldn't find anything.
