arthurirrational Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 Hi everyone, I am a singer/songwriter from Brighton, currently performing with my Nu Folk/Indie band Arthur and The Irrational (initially guitar, vocals and cello but we have recently been joined by accordion, and occasionally piano and violin). Our sound has been described as Tom Waits meets Kate Bush. We have been playing a lot of prestigious venues in the South East in the past, came second in the Sussex Music Awards in 2010, have received radio airplay along the way and are constantly gigging. We are currently recording our first album, which will be finished early next year and 2013 looks to be busy with gigs already lining up. We are looking for a bass player (ideally double bass) to join us! It would be great to find someone who is dedicated and is ideally available for weekly rehearsals and a few shows a month.
