It's a great sounding preamp and boost pedal with a very effective musical 2 band eq amongst other features. The low end you can get is killer. It has two, two way switches. One that gives you the option of a more solid state scooped amp tone or a vintage tube tone and another switch that gives you a hi end boost. I just don't use it enough and it's too good a pedal to only use occasionally infact I hate seeing it sit on my worktop not being used.It works great with the B3K Darkglass which is a huge part of my sound but I tend to use the B3K with my sansamp for FOH sound and any more eq when it's needed and my amp is an Orange AD200B which get dirty all by itself with no need of a booster to drive it. Ideal for solid state amps for a bit more warmth or driving tube amps that don't break up without huge volumes or just if you want a bit more eq on hand.
