ashgeezer Posted May 11, 2008 Share Posted May 11, 2008 i"ve just been given some pickups (pj configuration ) but theres no wires coming from them and seeing as im thick as a brick when it comes to electrics i was wondering what sort of wire would i use to get them up and running and where would i get it, is it special wire or will any electrical shop be able to sort me out with some. The bloke who i got em off said they came out of some crappy 80s bass but they work fine, want to try em in a project i"m in the middle of doing, i have the wiring diagrams to connect em to the pots etc just dont know which wire to use. Musky Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 You can pick this up at any electrical shop - just ask for 22 - 24 gauge (about 0.5 - 0.6mm) stranded cable.
