craigusfergus Posted November 10, 2012 Share Posted November 10, 2012 Hi there I'm currently doing an essay for Uni on Esperanza Spalding and I am using the song "The Peacocks" as an example however I am having some difficulty working out the time signature and general feel of the song. The closest I have gotten to is 9/8 1st bar and 4/4 (or as the drums would imply 8/8) in the second bar and constantly switching between the two. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong so it would be great to hear if anyone else had any other suggestions?
