Dingus
Just a quick note to say that I think those fingerboard dots are actually birds eye maple , rather than clay. Beautiful , well -made and great sounding basses , by the way.
Dusty
I have the sunburst version of the same spec bass, still my No1 bass If I had the dosh, I'd gladly have her as a back up / de- tune !!

b_string_funk
What´s the serial number? What´s the exact weight of the bass? if I am not mistaken the Glaubs came out in 2001, so I don´t think this is a 1999.

[/quote] There's a review of the Bob Glaub on the Lakland website from the July 2000 issue of Bass Player Magazine , so it looks like they were in production before 2001. b_string_funk
I know the review is from 2000, but check the Lakland serial numbers on their website..... http://www.lakland.com/tech-docs/serial-numbers.pdf
