rallyeluke Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 Hi My 8 year old cort gb74 bass guitar has very recently started humming, The amp I use is a Fender Rumble 25 which is also 8 years old. it sounds like electrical noise and does not go when I touch the strings or bridge (so I assume it is not a ground issue) I can really accentuate the noise if I switch the pan pot to the rear MM Pickup and can make it disappear if I switch to front jazz pickup, I have tried the amp from another plug socket but still the noise persists?
