pantherairsoft Posted July 7, 2012 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Hey, So we played a killer little festival last month in Bolton called Dogstock. It was a wicked weekend. A chap there was able to record the set post desk for us and get us the WAV's - After lots and lots of mixing volume levels (it was post desk so things went up and down as the sliders were moved). We have it balanced right. Quick master and here we go. We feel it's the best our actual on stage sound has ever been captured so we thought we'd put it out. For those that don't know who Our Helical Mind are, we play live breakbeat, drum & bass, hiphop, dubstep and funk grooves using an acoustic drum kit, bass guitar and a pile of analogue effects pedals. No sequencers, samplers, laptops etc etc. The performance features 2 MC's that we know, though the set is not rehearsed in any way and all the vocals are freestyled. Anyway...
