The only flaw is the fretboard which is a little dry and could do with oiling (which is usual maintenance for any rosewood fingerboard). The strings are playable, but to get the best from the instrument I would recommend a re-string at some point soon. Otherwise, aside from very light marks here and there the mandolin is in very nice condition. The price of £75 will be for the mandolin as it is now. I would be able to restring the mandolin and re-oil the neck with Fret Doctor (a top quality oil for rosewood) for an additional fee of £25... The mandolin has a spruce top and mahogany body.
