GarethFlatlands Posted May 20, 2012 Author Share Posted May 20, 2012 Well I initially soldered the PBC the wrong way up on the pots and put off fixing it for a while but I finally wired up the footswitch today and it's finished! First, I tired it out on my Jazzmaster; it does not like low output pickups and chokes out if they're set too low. I initially thought it wasn't working properly but then tried it with my bass. It held long sustained notes very well and the fuzz was pretty musical sounding. The octave up effect was hard to discern at first, but this was in accordance with the videos I'd seen of the original unit. I only tried it though the crappy Kustom practice combo that's lying around the house but if anyone's interested, I'll record a few clips through the DI.
