Hi All,

Up for trade is my Spector Legend 5 in Black Cherryburst.

Ideally looking to trade for a Fretless Jazz Bass (MIM/Squier VM) with a lined fingerboard - to give me a helping hand :P

The Spector is in reasonably good condition, probably 7/10 - I picked it up from a fellow Basschatter a couple of years ago and it had been gigged before and has since - therefore there are a number of light scratches around the bass, some buckle rash on the back, the worst of which is a couple of dings on the headstock (as pictured). It plays really nicely and has a great tone and a neck reminiscent of my Jazz V, it's just been restrung/set up (to my taste), fairly low action.

Here's a link to the SSD website which has more information: http://www.spectorba...l/classic5.html

Anyway, here's some pics to peruse...

Only reason I want rid of is I don't tend to gig my 5's anymore and I'd like to have a bash at Fretless.

Should anyone want more pics of specific areas of the bass please ask, I would prefer collection - or perhaps I could deliver if the deal was right.

Cheers,
Pete :)

Rw but just re read your original post and you are after a fretless. Mine is fretted. Easy enough to do a DIY job though

Shame, I'm not sure I fancy defretting it...concerned about splintering/chipping the fingerboard....goes off to search forums re: defretting a bass. :)

I'll have a think about it and pm you if I'm interested. :)
