gsgbass Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 I picked up a Hartke LH500 head, and a Hartke AK115 cab. today. My bass is a Fender American Standard Fretless Jazz. It sounds really good through the Hartke. The AK115 has a paper cone. I like the tone of it better than the aluminum cones, in some of the other Hartke series cabs. The LH500 head is a good match for the AK series cabs. I think it was a good choice for the fretless jazz. It has a good punch to it, and the settings are pretty simple to set.
