Cambridgekeith
Martin EB18 1979 (first year of production) Electric Bass. Excellent condition, OHSC, Badass Bridge, Bartolini Pick up. This is all original and in excellent condition. The body is mainly maple with plys of walnut(?) for strength and stability. Martin made electric guitars at the end of the 70s, but they were discontinued after 3 years as they were too expensive to make and didnt sell well. According to Martin 874 of these guitars were made in the 3 years. A letter from Martin giving these details is included in the sale, dated 1994 when I bought the instrument from an importer. They were never imported in to the UK in any quantity. To see photos go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/cambridgekeith/sets/72157628776568143/ This is an amazingly cool looking bass in stunning all original condition. Jigster
what's the scale length? fret condition?
Cambridgekeith
34 1/4 inch scale length. Frets in pretty good shape, but some wear. Frets are quite high profile so where worn there is plenty of "meat" left. Plays just perfectly
