steve-soar
He's my old band. Bass recorded straight into the desk. Jaydee Mark King. steve-soar
Just to add, it was a Neve desk that was pushed into distortion. Ahh. The good old days.
discreet
Nice. Neve! I once recorded on Floyd's old automated Neve desk at Mayfair Studios. It was bright pink... rock stars, eh? Edit: In fact, I've got a pic of it somewhere... hang on... it was a VR60 with flying faders, IIRC. steve-soar
Any noise for me to listen to?
discreet
It was merely TV advertising music, and my partner in crime has since buggered off with the showreel. I was desperate to do some proper tracking there, but it was not to be. Bit of a waste IMHO! We did meet Robert Plant and Jimmy Page while at Mayfair though, which was very cool. We were not worthy, as you can imagine.
Mr H
That took me back, though the band had by then forsaken the shuffly drumming I was used to hearing. I'll have to look for my pre-steve-soar Scorpio Rising tape. Give my regards to M.J. ("Who?!" - M.J.)

Mr H
Marc, I meant! Really enjoyed Oceanside and Track 03 1, by the way.
