I bought this not so long ago from Basschatter overwater#1 (Matt) not so long ago in my quest to own or try most of the good things out there. I used it on a live podcast recorded just with a couple of overheads and we were all knocked out by the depth of tone on the recording. You all know the score on Scout combos - 12" speaker plus a passive radiator on the underside. Full sound which has been said to be the closest to an all-tube tone without the weight. This is the 4 ohm version so it gets the full 300w amp power. However, many people have happily used a Walkabout at 2 ohms or 2.6 ohms (many posts on TB about this capability) so an extension cab looks possible. Or you can just take the amp out and use a bigger cab if you prefer. Comes with protective Mesa cover and manual. Trades maybe considered if you have a good condition Trace SMX head or Ashdown JJ500 head. I do like graphic EQ... Price is £795 delivered mainland UK or £775 collected from Doncaster.
