A [/quote] I like them a lot, but never tried the GHS, so a bit curious as I would love it if the GHS were a "bit" less bright than the D'Addarios... it's D'Addario, not Dimarzio!!! AgentCooper Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 Had Rotosound Flats on CV Jazz in order to try and replicate feel and tone of a '64 Relic . With proper vintage pickups and wiring it may have got close eventually. I'd say the fine frets lend themselves to Flats more than rounds.
