Peavey TL5 Electronics

My TL5 electronics are playing up.
It's like this one with the dodgy stacked tone controls. http://home.earthlink.net/~timlanders/TL5.html
The mid/mid shift control was a bit flaky and i was unable to source a replacement but now only the volume blend controls work at all.
I replaced the treble/bass pot ages ago.
Should I replace the preamp and pots with Bartolini john East or Aguilar or any other suggestions welcome.

I found the problem.
A wire had detached from the PCB. Soldered back on and working fine.
Still might swapout the preamp and controls one day if anyone has any suggested improvements.
