JMT3781 Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Howdy All A mate of mine has an old GK mb150 12" combo, he blew the speaker up years ago and threw it away when he took it out. He's asked me to put a new speaker in for him, preferably one like the original.. Does anyone know what driver used to be in these combos? wattage and ohmage? I only know one person I know to have one of these and as far as I recall, it's still pumping out the bass! It's a shame it's not 10s he looking after... I've got a whole ruck of those sitting spare. The speakers in these are more like giant hi-fi speakers - they've got foam surrounds and about 3cm of cone travel. Put almost anything else in and its going to sound sh*te.
