Hi all

GAS strikes again. Selling this to fund a 6 string.

Rare, excellent condition, hands down one of the most resonant instruments I have played. Really excellent build quality, for example I found when I took it apart to check the electronics that the shielding job is excellent; even the reverse of the pickguard has been shielded. Solid as a proverbial rock.

Some of the upper frets are in need of polishing. Otherwise the bass is in excellent working condition. Really interesting preamp - schematic from the back of the bass is in the pics.

Reviewed well in Bass Player when it was released, though sadly I don't have a copy of the original review. 21 frets, alder body, 9V preamp, humcancelling alnico pickups, great sound.

Video of one in action - http://youtu.be/dIcdamEVc5c

I'm looking for £350 plus p+p for this excellent professional instrument.

Hi

Just bought the fretless version of this, really great bass.

Could I ask, how does the frets need of polishing manifest itself, sorry if that's a daft question, haven't come across that before, could you also tell me if it comes with a case/bag please and what the shipping would cost.
Cheers

Looks like in the UK insured and trackable shipping about £20 - 25.

Some scummidge on upper frets which I have polished off other frets but haven't polished off a couple of the other upper ones. A couple of minutes work with some polishing stuff I bought from a guitar store would do it. Photos don't show it well, will have to see if I can find a better pic.

No case, very old gig bag which would be only for shipping purposes.

:)

Let me know!
Thanks. I'm less familiar with the BTB series, I hear they're nice basses, but on balance probably will pass. Many thanks for the offer though!
