chaseman167 Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Hello basschat! My name is Ali, and I've been a member of talkbass for a while, but I realised I should probably join the UK equivalent! I'm 16, and I've been playing bass since I was 11, and I'm working my way though grade 8 rock school. I currently play a Fender Classic 70s jazz through a GK MB115, but I'm looking for a cheap stingray as well to add to the armoury. I'm in a band called The Chase, and we've recently released our debut album. I like many genres, including dubstep, rock in general, funk, electronica, and anything by RHCP. Our band's next major gig is at the Weymouth Pavilion, where we will be supporting Attack Attack (they have almost one million fans on Facebook!) alongside some other local bands. Keep chugging along with the rockschool grade 8, I found the book again the other day and had a go through it, I never sat the exam though due to school committments!
