Due to a change in personal circumstances this year I'm downsizing my kit and first on offer is a 1979-81 USA Fender Precision Body. It was covered in detail in this old thread & I put a lot of time in stripping it (devalues it but just looks soooo cool);

Because I enjoy things like eating food most days and not losing my home (a little tongue in cheek here but things really are a little tight right now) I've decided to let this go for £250 incl UK delivery. These tend to be on EBay around £500 (I paid just shy of that) but I figure the stripped finish coupled with my desire to raise funds fairly swiftly warrant the lower price tag. I had two basses built from 70s parts and I've reassembled the stuff that was more to my preferences into one killer bass. This body had a lot of tone to it but was the one 70s body I owned second & I think I bonded more with the first one. It's not a brick but it's heavier than average. The neck from it was dated 1979 and the pots from it early 1980. How do you date the body? The US seller reckoned this was late 1980. I have no way of weighing it here I'm afraid but it is certainly manageable. A good chance for somebody to have some real vintage mojo on a cheap budget. Pics attached but there are more in the thread link. It does look cool as heck, I'm sure you'll agree.

There's a feedback thread on here for me - check me out, I'm very easy to deal with (that said I'm not into low ball offers right now, sorry can't afford to be) & I always post within 24hrs of getting paid.
