derrenleepoole Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Just a quick shout out to my fellow BC-ers to see if anyone around the Blackburn area of Lancashire has a NS Wav 4 EUB and could loan me the stand for a gig tomorrow night in Chorley? Somehow, without waring I might add, the bit on the stand that connects to the bass has completely sheered off! It happened luckily when I was playing the bass, and not when it was free standing. I've no idea why it's happened. There's clearly a design or manufacturing flaw at work. I'm just grateful that the bass didn't crash to the floor, but equally pissed that a gig I've been rehearsing on the upright for is now just happening on the electric. No big thing really, but still..... Well, maybe just maybe someone on here can help.
