Anyone used eBid?

I signed up ages ago, but have never really bothered.

Just received a subscription email offering "Seller+" upgrade for £49.99 in the next 48 hours offering:
• No More Listing Fees EVER
• No More Final Value Fees EVER
• No More Monthly Store Fees EVER
• No More Reserve Fees EVER
• No More BuyNow Fees EVER
• Add Videos to your Auctions FREE
• Google Checkout For your Auctions FREE
• Create Up to 5 eBid Stores FREE
and to knock any previous fees paid on sales (that'll be none then) off the upgrade price.

Have to say my selling on eBay has always been in fits & starts and I have never really used eBid as it is so much smaller than eBay so its probably not worth it for me, but interesting to see all the same from another auction site clearly trying to kickstart its business.

I suppose they must be banking on an increased market share and the majority being regular sellers and carrying on paying fees. Compared to eBay they are [sub]tiny[/sub] - eg only 5 basses listed on the UK site and none of them very exciting

Mods feel free to move this if you feel it would be better off in Off Topic, but here seemed as good a place as any to start it
