andrewrx7 Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Just signed up. My name in Andrew, and I was over on Bassworld for a little while before it disappeared. I play bass in a covers band, although we are currently writing our own stuff, so will eventually have a CD of original material. Of the numbers written so far, its fair to say there is a wide range of musical styles going on! Anyway, I play a Schecter Diamond series 5 string, with a Trace Elliot 300w head through Trace 4x10 and 1x15 cabs. Since we are a 3 piece (we were originally 4, then strayed to 5, then back to 4 and finally 3!!), I also use a Unibass pedal that is run to a Trace SuperTramp. Other than that pedal, I use no other effects. To be honest, the sound from the Schecter and the Trace gear is great. I've had quite a few people comment on how good it sounds, so why tamper!!
