For Trade '83 fretless Precision in Sunburst GONE! GONE! GONE!

Hello all,

It used to be fretted, but has been converted to a lined fretless. For some reason, the dot markers have been removed and filled with some kind of epoxy. The fret lines filled in with filler it looks like, but I could be wrong.
I bought it from Bassdirect over Xmas (2010) for £700, so I'll be looking for trades around the £600 mark because the bass has surely depreciated since.
It has natural mojo and sounds gorgeous. A few knocks around the edges, some buckle rash and a couple of impact cracks in the lacquer on the main body. A real subtle mwah sound and proper bassy! It's ridiculously light for a P. I reckon about 8 pounds. The case weighs more! The '83 Precisions are quite special because they have a completely different neck profile to any other model. For some reason.
It's coming with a Fender Tweed case (it's not original, I think I remember hearing Mark say it's about 10 years old) and tags and reciepts to verify it's origin.
I'll get some pictures up should anyone be interested.

Tradewise I'm after FRETTED American Precisions, but PM me with any suggestions you may have regarding trades. Laklands, G&L's, Sandbergs, Gibsons whatever. Preferably 5er's, but not essential. Worst I can do is send my mate Tony round your house to sort you out for offering me something I'm not interested in.

Cheers

Alex

Pictures up! I don't know how to get them big, but at least I can prove that it exists!

Ps - I know it's a Jazz pup cover, I just use it to rest on rather than fit a thumbrest or a tugbar!
