EHX micro synth bass

HI basschat
I just received a 2nd handed bass micro synth from EHX (2months old)

When i first tried it, I hear like a strange noise, like my jack output is not good anymore or something. It's very loud that it's even higher in sound level then the synth sound.
I changed cable, powersupply, amp and bass but the irritating noise is still there.

It just runs with the supplied power supply, so not daisy chained.

I made a sample, dont mind the bad notes/timing, but I just played it to give you the idea of the noise
I used a preset of EHX itself, so I don't do anything stupid with the settings.

btw I now there is like a trimpot inside that sets the gain, but that doesn't affect that much...

thoughts?
give thanks

hmm have you adjusted all the dials all off except one, then gradually bring the dial up on individually. You might be able to isolate.. but it does sound like something is not quite right.. I have had mine for years and it's doesn't do that..
Try a different lead and a different amp and bass if possible, because is almost seems like it's not the pedal..

I used my 4 and 5 string bass, changed every jack jack, changed power supply (factory and one spot), changed amp (WT800eden and WTX500 eden), Cabinets (epifani & eden), ...
i tried to narrow the problem in faders, but can't find it.. only the attack delays helps, because it delays it :) ...

djezus, more help is welcome :)
tnks for the replies so far!
