topo morto
[s]This is a lot of fun but I'm in 'downsizing' mode so offering for sale.[/s] SOLD. It's probably the most versatile pedal I've tried- with the gate, blend, a wide range of drive, and a useful tone control it can do all sorts of distortion and fuzz for bass (and guitar too). Very cool-looking and fun to use - looks and feels like something from a 60's war! Downsides are that it's a little noisy (nothing you'd notice live or in a mix though) and the fact that the blend control is internal (as shown in pic) but nothing to spoil the fun. VGC. £85 posted. please PM if interested. A video featuring the actual pedal is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdqB70WEDnw. Bassy bits are at the beginning and at @3:47. pics: Edited March 4, 2011 by topo morto

naruki
Does it work with active basses? And what's the difference between that version and the one feature in BassFuzz.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC42uMZ7v3Y...player_embedded ? From the samples on their website, the 'oscillating fuzz mode' doesn't sound all that relevant to bass (http://www.3xfx.com/audio/fm_oscillating_lead_2.mp3) so the V1 might actually be better for bass..? I've not tried the V2 though myself. I don't have an active bass myself, but this thread mentions no issue in the 'Fatman' (i.e. V.1) mode - only a difference in the 'fuzz' mode. Hope that helps!
