Just in case you havn't seen these before, they crop up now and then and are some kind of way to get your money.

Here's the version I received today. If you get one just ignore it.

My name is, Mr Powell,the secretary of a wedding
committee that has been
constituted to see to the smooth running of my
boss's son's wedding
ceremony.
I am saddled with the responsibility of locating and
arranging for a
good and experienced of your wedding Entertainer
So,i searched through the internet and found you
appropriate of your wedding service for the
wedding ceremony.
The details of the wedding are as follows:
Date of the wedding: 30-02-2008
Type of wedding: social
venue of the wedding:[Church and reception will be
held in the same
place,UK]the details of the venue will be
passed across to you as
soon as i finish with the bookings and signed the
necessary papers.
Time of wedding: 10 A.M---2 P.M.
Every other necessary details will be forwarded to
you as soon as
they are available. So, I will need your services for
4 hours and how it will
cost .
Lest i forget, our payment is by cheque.So,after
telling me the
price and your availability, i will need your
details to write the
check. Thanks in anticipation of your favorable
response.

I'd asume so .. Last one was a gig in the US ...
Some brave BC soul followed it up but I don't think they ever got to the sting ...

Don't bother, spend the time doing scales or marketing your band .. It will be more fun and you'll get more out of it.
