paddy mcbride Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Hi I recently acquired a Spector Euro 4 Lx and would prefer to have a single volume pot with a blend control. When using my warwicks Streamer LX's I tend to run in passive mode and use the eq on my amp. What would I need to do with the spector controls to provide the following controls 1No volume control with active passive pull pot 1No blend control Will the EMG's (not HZ series) run in passive mode or would I be best to change the EQ altogether.....maybe the Aguilar OBP2. I don't need mid control on the spector. I like to keep things simple. I currently play in a metal/hardcore band if that helps with tone controls suggestions. By the way, this spector is easily the best feeling bass I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I'm absolutely blown away by the fit and finish. Any help would be appreciated.
