darkandrew Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Hi, I'm thinking of getting an MTD Kingston Heir bass ( [url="http://www.mtdkingston.com/thezone/prod_profile_theheir.htm"]http://www.mtdkingston.com/thezone/prod_profile_theheir.htm[/url] ) to be my gig bass - I have a number of other really nice basses but always worry too much about them when gigging, so I was thinking about getting one of these as it appears to be be a very good, relatively inexpensive bass. Although all the reviews of these are very, very positive I was wondering whether the Korean "Kingston" series use the same hardware as their USA counterparts and are just assembled in Korea to save money or whether the cost-cutting also includes using cheaper hardware?
