Enhancer/limiter vs Chorus

Hey man, these pedals do very different things.

The limiter/enhancer will control the volume of your signal by turning it down once it reaches a certain volume. It does this very quick, potentially effecting every note you play.

The chorus effectively duplicates your bass sound, making it sound thicker.

Things are more complicated than that, but that is the simple explanation. Your question seems to assume that the pedals are similar, when in fact they are completely different.

If I was looking to buy a pedal that would 'even out' the loud peaks in my signal (such as a compressor/limiter/enhancer), I'd check out www.ovnilab.com for the best suggestions. There's a simple 'what is the best' page here > CLICK.

I also would suggest buying second hand from here. You'll get a good price for a reliable bit of kit from a good seller. A pedal such as the Markbass Compressore CLICK or the DHA VT1 Bass Compressor CLICK are really excellent pedals for a very good price. If that's too steep, the BBE Optostomp CLICK come up cheaper and are also excellent pedals.
