LeftyBiskit Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 I'm putting together a pedalboard and I am wondering what the difference is between a limiter/enhancer and a chorus pedal or do they both do the same thing, being a total newbie to stomp boxes any advice would be welcome. The limiter/enhancer will control the volume of your signal by turning it down once it reaches a certain volume. It does this very quick, potentially effecting every note you play. The chorus effectively duplicates your bass sound, making it sound thicker. Things are more complicated than that, but that is the simple explanation. You'll get a good price for a reliable bit of kit from a good seller. A pedal such as the Markbass Compressore [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=107899"]CLICK [/url]or the DHA VT1 Bass Compressor [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=108379"]CLICK [/url] are really excellent pedals for a very good price. If that's too steep, the BBE Optostomp [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=93574"]CLICK [/url]come up cheaper and are also excellent pedals.
