wesfinn
Does anyone on ehre own an early framus triumph by any chance? I'm restoring a black 56 model at the moment which is missing the chrome plate and bridge assembly. As getting the parts for these is pretty impossible Im going to get some made so need to get the correct measurements. PM me if you can help! thanks
waldemar
Might seem like a really obvious suggestion, but there's this one up on ebay at the mo: http://cgi.ebay.com/FRAMUS-TRIUMPH-Upright...=item19c085254a It may be worthwhile dropping the seller a line and asking him for a few details/extra pics. I've done this in the past with a reasonable amount of success - some will help, others won't bother answering. Worth a go, though. w./
Does anyone on ehre own an early framus triumph by any chance? wesfinn
cheers man, didn;t see that one on the bay! heres some pix of the bass. the fingerboard was in bad shape a lot of the nitro paint had chipped of over the years and the board had some string dents. there were also some gaps in the join seams which needed re glueing with hide glue. I have now shot the board with a leveling block and the first coats of black nitro have been added.

Clarky
This guy was selling a Warwick Triumph - do they have the exact same dimensions as the Framus (of which I understand its a replica/copy) in which case you could drop him a PM?
