I've owned my ESP guitar the longest out of everything i've owned and the price has jumped on it year after year. Incredible build quality/tone and playability if you can get past the unorthodox metal looks. Very versatile and great value for money, they're going up. I reckon ESP is going to rival G&L and the Lakland Skylines soon IMHO. They've recently been making improvements on vintage-esque guitar/bass models and its working.
