iconic Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) I'll be the first to say I don't know my Fender's that well (getting there!) but the serial number breaks out as 2008-2009 and the Fender on the head is written in grey, not black as 2009's are...or am I wrong? willyf87 Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 MZ8 means 2007-2008, but yeah I have one and it has a black logo so it is rather strange, my one is also MZ8 but I assume fender make and date them store them then send them out so it could still have all the new bits except an old logo best way would be to have a look at it.
