Kraken Posted September 1, 2010 Share Posted September 1, 2010 I've owned my EBM 5 since the 1990's when I bought it new (one of the few blessings of the Student Loans Company) it was my first 5 string bass. I know it is the earlier version with all the tuning pegs facing down, later they switched to a 3 over 2 headstock. mine has been taken out of regular gigging abotu 2 years ago as it was starting to not get a sound I liked and I couldn't afford to get it overhauled. things have changed so before I get it overhauled I was wondering if anyone knew anything else about these basses or if there are any specific things I should know before spending money on it. any other infromation about them would be welcome also. thanks Kraken.
