    Yes I’d love to hear it. I’m sure it’ll help the sale either way! Also, What are the positions of the side dots? Where they would normally be on a fretted bass or on the “frets” themselves?

    Yea you’re probably right. I will try do one this weekend for you. :)

    The fret markers are in the fret positions (not like a fretted) so you play on the markers.

  2. Hello,

    I've decided to move this bass on as it doesn't get played as much as it deserves! It's a top spec bass and sounds incredible with so many different tones. If you are looking at this you know the cost of Warmoth parts and the quality that comes with it. It cost me £1300+, not including import fees etc to put this together.

    It's in great condition, not a mark on it as far as I know. It has had a fret dress and full setup done on it. The Deluxe 5 neck comes with an asymmetric neck profile along with it's 17.5mm string spacing make it comfortable to play and easy to get around on.

    Here's a link to what Warmoth say about the neck - Deluxe 5 4+1 Bass Neck

    Here are the specs;

    • Warmoth Deluxe 5 neck and body (with contoured heel)
    • Swamp Ash body with Zebrano top
    • Wenge neck with ebony fretboard and matching headstock face
      • 44.45mm nut width
    • Pearloid Block inlays
    • Stainless Steel frets
    • 34" Scale, 22 frets
    • 10" fingerboard radius
    • Hipshot A Bridge in Brass (string through)
      • 17.5mm bridge spacing
    • Hipshot Ultralite Tuners
    • Nordstrand Pickups - MM5.4 (quad Coil) bridge pickup + NJ5 Jazz neck pickup
    • Nordstrand 3b-4B, 3 band Pre Amp
      • Vol, Blend Bass, mid (selectable mid on push/pull) and treble +/-
      • Passive Tone
      • Active passive switch
      • Series/single/parallel switch for music man pickup
    • Hipshot knobs - Only negative about this bass is some of the rubber rings have perished over time
    • Finished in Tru-Oil

    £900 £800 £700 £650 including postage or you can collect from Manchester

    Trades possible - 5 strings - interested in Warwick,Sandberg and Dingwall basses, but open to others.

    Any questions then please ask,

    Adam

  3. Sorry it's been a hell of a long time since i've updated this...It's actually all built, but lets pretend it isn't ;)

    I got the strings on and started to rough out the buffalo horn nut. Frets have all been filed flush levelled and dressed at this point.

    Oh, and i painted in the pickup cavities with shielding paint. Always easier to do before oil, so any spill over can be sanded away.

    Once all slots have been roughed in, I can get the strings on. I've not gone up to pitch yet as it's a new neck.

    Cutting fret slots with nut files to a rough depth to be finalised in final setup.

    Final sanding ready for oil is next, then onto wring it all up and assembling it for the final time....back soon, I do mean soon! :)

  4. Hello,

    I have decided to sell this tuner pedal as I need a little more room on my board. It’s a great tuner, just a little big for me.

    Fully working, pretty good condition, just a few bits of wear.

  5. Hello all,

    I have this bridge pickup for sale that is in my Warmoth fretless. I have the bass for sale, but I might try a new pickup to change it's sound so if someone buys this pickup before the bass I remove it from sale and keep the bass.

    It's a great sounding pickup, giving a full, round fat yet detailed sound. I think I'm going to install a Musicman type pickup instead. It's been in this bass for a while, but it's not ever been gigged, so it's in new condition with no marks or scratches and has plenty of cable left.

    This is a quad coil humbucker so it can be switched from series HB/parallel HB/single coil all hum free. It's Bartolini P2 Driver size, dimentions below;

  6. I've decided to move this little pedal on. It's a very versatile pedal for it's size, I just fancy an MXR compressor...maybe it's the flashing lights...

    It's in great condition, just with the usual velcro on the bottom (that can be taken off) and comes with box and instructions. Only thing worth pointing out is that it needs a power supply, no 9V battery. More about it here;

  7. Hello,

    This is a bit of a feeler really. I've been toying with selling this for a bit. I'm just not getting on with it, not sure why. So I want see if there is any interest in it. If i get the right deal I will sell.

    It's in top condition, basically new and setup with a nice low action, and will definitely give you that mwah you want from a fretless. ;) Cost me over £1500 for parts/Import costs on all parts. It is a killer bass, not sure if it's the 35" scale, but just never settled with it.

    Here are the specs;

    • Warmoth Gecko 5 (small) neck and body
    • Mahogany body with figured Koa Top (unique choice)
    • Wenge neck with unlined ebony fretboard and matching headstock face
    • 35" Scale, 24 frets
    • 18mm bridge spacing
    • 14" fingerboard radius
    • 48mm nut width, 73mm at 24th Fret
    • Hipshot Bridge (string through) and ultralite tuners
    • Delano Quad core humbucker (with secret series/single/parallel switch)
    • Finished in Tru-Oil

    £900 £800 £700

    £600 plus postage or collection from Manchester

    Trades possible - 5 strings fretted/fretless - interested in Warwick,Sandberg and Dingwall basses, but open to others.

  8. Hello,

    I have decided to sell my  headphones as I got them a while ago but only used them a couple of times and I don't really get any use any more. They are great headphones for both live and studio use. Great isolation means they are perfect for monitoring whilst recording.

    These are basically brand new, just with no box, but do come with a travel bag.

  9. Hello mate,

    He definitely wasn't paid to say that, I've only just seen this!

    Anyway, thanks so much for the kind words, and spending the time to really give my basses a good play. It's always nice to hear players feedback, especially when it's as positive as this. Makes all the hours planning and testing really worth it!

    All builds are on the website now, with new pro photos. :)

    Thanks again, and it was great to meet you.
