Just waiting for mine to be delivered, should be next few days! It's a 1980 white with maple board, bought from alhbass off here, and belonged to old horse Murphy before that who I believe got it in a trade.
Really looking forward to it, been told it weighs in at 9lb 4 so doesn't seem too bad really, certainly not as heavy as my old aria pro 2 sb I used to own! And about the same as a friends fender 70s jazz I got to play a couple of times.- 1

Hi I have a very nice 70s Antonia jazz, very light, maple board with black blocks, walnut in colour, replaced pickups with fender custom shop, plays a dream, owes me £350 so maybe we could do a deal this plus cash ?
Let me know your thoughts!
Cheers Gav -

Last night my right hand cramped up a couple of songs from the end of the gig, quite painful in fact!
It has happened a couple of times before!
Wondered if any one else suffers from this? -
Defo try what ever it is you are thinking about, thunderbirds look cool, but are not to everyone's playing taste feel wise, have you worked out what sort of weight you like? If you prefer a jazz widths neck or something chunkier, like a precision ? Active or passive electrics is also something to bear in mind.
Good luck with your search, it will be worth it -
Thanks for the advice chaps, I do use a jazz as it happens, I have ordered a milkbox compressor too so see what that brings to the mix

Giving it a go now, cheers for that

90p for a cappuccino ?( if I stay for half an hour) . Bargain. I know there's corruption in Russia , but this sounds too good to be true.
What's the name of this coffee shop? Is it a chain ?

Heres one of me taken in 2010 on my wedding day, we played in a cave which was great fun with bats flying over my head

I am really loving wearing hats on stage lately, and am adding to my collection as and when I see a new one I like, there's just something about them I love, it seems to totally transform an otherwise mundane stage outfit into something a bit different ! Anyone else with me on this one ?
