I Think the damage may be to far gone and I don't have the funds to buy another Bass but id love to find a way of replacing the top if possible and ideas at this point  would gratefully accepted.  Thanks in advance

My inquisitive mind has lead me on a journey of discovery, the goal of which is to discover more about  Mosfet and Bipolar amps.Are they are currently the best type of amp apart from tube and why ? bearing mind I don't have a masters in electronics
