1. SOLD FOR £825

Hi.

Gotta put this beauty up for sale.
It's very rare SKC Bogart headless bass from the early days of the company, early '90s. What makes it so special is, that it's a 36" scale bass. Incredibly tight sounding, and still the bass is short enough to fit a guitar gig bag. And of course it balances very well!!!
The owner of the company told me, that he just built a few of these, so it truly is a rare occasion to buy one of these.

Here come the specs:
- blackstone body (some secret composite material)
- woven graphite neck
- phenowood fingerboard w/ zero fret
- Bartolini hum cancelling single coil pickups
- early model Kurandt preamp (2band, 9V)
- Schaller security locks
- weight: only 3.9kg
- string spacing @ bridge: 18.3mm which is 0.72 inches

You can pay via money transaction or via paypal. If you worry about sending money to a complete stranger, I could put this bass up on german ebay, and you can buy it from there (100% positive feedback there). Although this would cost maybe 115 euros ebay fees... I'd leave that up to the buyer.

If there are any questions or price quotes, just drop me a message.

2. hey folks.

let's play a little game. there are 3 basses, and I recorded 3 sound clips. one has JJ pickups, one has PJ pickups, and one has a single MM-humbucker. now the first question is, which clip was recorded with which PU configuration.
later, I'll post a short list of possible basses, and you can try to find out which basses I used.

here are the sound clips.
one
two
three

all three of them have the same strings. the preamp was flat and the tone pot was full on respectively. pickup blend pot was in middle position.

have fun :-)

3. thanks for the advice.
actually, i just play like that when sitting, and even then, not all the time. never had pain or anything like that. but thanks again. one can never be too careful when it comes to tendon problems right ?

4. Hey folks.

I'm trying to find a few nice bass playalong tracks. I don't mean certain songs, but more like some sort of Reggae song, some Funk stuff, Jazz, Rock, Metal and so on.
Something to jam along with.
Is there a collection of that somewhere ?

Now, what's interesting too:
Maybe there are some playalongs, which I record some bass lines to, and then post them when I am about to sell a bass. I think there is another thing going on because of the copy rights, when money is made ?
