1. Just a quick heads up on this one folks and sorry if it has already been posted..

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ernie-Ball-MusicMan-Sting-Ray-Bass-Guitar-in-MusicMan-Hard-Case-UK-SELLER/352279781214?hash=item520582df5e:g:phcAAOSwFnxaWe0Z

I mailed the seller regarding the photos of the bass as it looks as though the frets had been removed.....seller replied "this is a fretless bass" that was it! They're not telling lies but they haven't been exactly forthcoming. Just beggars belief as some poor sod may buy this without realising the frets had been ripped out!!

Rant over...

2. Had a meet up with Paul (not in that way :) ) to drop him off my MM Ray. Absolutely seamless transaction, great comms, impeccable time keeping and thoroughly decent fella.

Cheers Paul,
Mark.

4. Hi All,

Selling this beast as something else has caught my attention, purchased 6/7 weeks ago from Deedee, (some text taken from Deedee's original ad hope he doesn't mind).

Bass sounds as god intended it to and only has minor signs of wear. Both necks feel and play beautifully, electronics are free from issue and are fully functional.

For sale only, no trades please.

Original Maple Neck

As you are aware MM necks haven’t been gloss for many years. However, after falling in love with the gloss finish on the Fender P I had at the time I looked into getting this refinished. Horizontalste had recently had the neck of his ‘ray refinished by Jon Shuker and was very happy to recommend him. So, off to Mr Shuker it went for a tinted gloss lacquer finish. This included a complete re-fret and new nut.
The results are stunning and that black and ‘enhanced’ maple combination is pretty much hard to beat.

As you’d expect the neck is in mint condition.

Status neck

I’d heard many good things about pairing a graphite neck with a Stingray so I’ve given that a go too. To be honest, I do really like the combination and it plays beautifully. Also looks real 'stealth' B).

This neck was previously fitted to an OLP Stingray and the tuners that are currently fitted are from that bass.

So, there you have it, a beast of a bass with 2 necks.

I would be keeping it but a GAS curse has the better me!

Comes with MM hard case.

Collection or local-ish meet up preferred, don't mind an hours drive out to accommodate. Bass location WS15 1EJ.

Or buyer can arrange and pay for their own shipping.

5. I can muck in here, Im in Rugeley (Staffordshire) ...standard set ups and lower tuning set ups, solder repairs, preamp fitting, some body work repairs (depending on severity and finish type), cavity shielding / grounding, plus a bit of damaged truss rod nut removal type of thing. :)

I have to use all my strength to keep myself from making a good offer for both ;)
Good luck with the sale!

(you could do some editing to the original post as the pictures are not visible)

Hey Paul, i feel it's time for a change, too many good basses out there that need to be noodled on. Not too sure with what has happened to the pics, they were visible when i first listed the bass, good spot though i'll jump to it.

Please feel free to make me an offer ;) ......i know you want to!!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods mate!?
