1.
£700 seems VERY low for a 500+ person venue
especially when you take into account mics'
cables for everything
spare cables
Stands etc etc

I run a PA rental company and I reckon my rig which was over £3000 might struggle in a 500+ venue
If your interested im willing to take time and put together a full list of what you need as close to budget as possible for you just because I'll enjoy the challenge!

Let me know
Well I guess considering that you're in the business you're the person to ask! :)
But yeah, I'd really appreciate that dude, thank-you

3.
Certainly not a master here, but i've been in your very same position not too long ago.

I found gumtree to be a great source for this kind of things. Lots of djs and bands upgrading or folding, so plenty of choice.

If you're going to put guitars and drums through it, you'll need a mixer with plenty of inputs, at least 8 i'd say, and plenty watts in your speakers! In my not so expert view if you're playing venues that big you need a lot of decibels for your money! No less than 600W i'd say, probably more.

Good luck
okok... so 8+ channel mixer, 600w+ power amp/Speakers. I guess what I'm really looking for is someone flogging a whole set-up worthy of my requirements... hmmm.. To gumtree!!! :)

oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Cheers matey

4.
Shameless plug :) Selling a flightcased QSC RMX1450 here if you're interested - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=78118

Great amp for a PA and all you'd need after would be a couple of good passive speakers.
Thanks for the Reply Dubs- I'll keep it in mind

5. Hi guys... This is a bit of a cry for help... I been tasked with purchasing our first PA system. Here's my limitations and possible requirements:

- Price minimum/limit: £300-700
- Primarily Vocal amplification, but possibility of Instrumental Mic (G****rs, D**ms etc.)
- Venues of up to 500 people (on average), maybe more

Some of you guys have a lot more experience than me in the world of private functions and local gigging than I have and so I would hugely appreciate some guidance from the forum masters!

Cheers Guys

Ky :)

6. Hello,
Up for sale is my Boss LMB-3 Limiter Enhancer pedal. I bought this last July to go with the rest of my pedals and my old GP7 Trace Combo- Unfortunately, after recently acquiring my new Trace AH-500-12 Head, I don't think there's much use for this pedal now :) There's so much on the front panel of this head that I just can't see where a limiter/enhancer could fit!?

Anyway... The pedal is in pretty much MINT. Condition, but due to the smallest of surface marks (which I probably can't photograph) , I'll have to give it an "Excellent Condition" Rating

Price is £45ovno + PnP - Will also accept Cash on Collection

Cheers Guys

-Oh, and just to note, there is no manual included in this sale, but can be downloaded as a PDF. from Boss' wesbsite

7. Hello,
I'm selling my BOSS Syb-5 synth pedal. The effects are great and the preset variation seems endless! it's just that the pedal doesn't suit the music my current band plays- which is a shame really, as I'm sure that some really cool sounds could be had...

The price stands at £80+PnP I'm afraid, as the original price paid New for both in January was £126.99

I will add Photographs and Postage Prices at a later date

will also accept cash on collection

Cheers Guys

8.
Weighs about 90kg so if you want to arrange something then thats fine by me but due to size i recommend collection. If you want to pre-pay and sort out a courier to collect then thats fine but you would have to arrange (and of course that would mean you wouldnt be able to test your bass head thru it before hand). I know i keep goin on but i really dont want to mis-sell this cab like i was, but on the info i have ONLY the Ah1000 head will power the full cab. PM me if your still interested pal
Yeah, I just took a look on the Trace Elliot Product support section and the AH1000 looks like the only head that will Bi-amp at that power via Neutrik (in the Trace range)... I'm sure that there's a way to remove the Neutrik connection and power the (2x) 2x10" and 1x15" as individual cabinets; maybe 3 separate Jack connections etc.

I'll probably give this one a miss for now, for the above, and purely getting hold of the thing!!

Wish you the best of Luck though :)
